rI <br /> <br /> W]IEREAS, by a resolution of the Anoka City Con,nission dated April 14, <br />1967 a "Statements of Policy and intent by the City of Anoka regarding the <br />proposed operation of a sanitary lal~dfill in Ra~]sey Township" was adopted <br />by Anoka, and <br /> <br /> WHER]~AS, item number 5 of the resolution referred to above states <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />"The entire tract of land will ultimately be aimed at public use <br />development, i.e., recreation, parks, etc., which will enhance the value <br />of the abutting and surrounding properties" and <br /> <br /> Eq{EREAS, Anoka does not desire to establish, develop or maintain <br />any public use areas within Ramsey; <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />NOW, TItEREFORE, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties hereto: <br />1. Anoka will convey fee title by Deed to the landfill site to <br />Ramsey no sooner than October 31, 1981, and no later than December 1, 1981. <br />The legal description of the property to be conveyed is' legally described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> -- Parcel 1. <br /> The South one half ( S 1/2) of the Southeast one quarter (SE 1/4) <br /> of Section 22, To%rnship 32, Range 25, in the Township of Ramsey, <br /> County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. <br /> Parcel 2 <br /> The North one half (N 1/2) of the Northeast one quarter (NE 1/4) <br /> of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, in the Township of Ramsey, <br /> County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. <br /> <br /> 2.
