Further, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said agreement. Motion carried. Voting yes Voting no AUTHORIZATION TO JOIN ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITIES, REQUEST FOR: Enclosure (D3-e) contains a letter from the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities and-~".dues ~tatement~ The letter gives'you a brief overview. of the association's functions. I'recommend to the Council that we become a member of this association as there are many things that they can help 'us with in the present and future. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove 6f.:joining the Association of Metro Municipalities. T-he funding for said organization was set up in Unallocated Activity 101-4930, Council Sinking Fund 1162. HAZARDOUS WASTE I I I I I I PROCESSING FACILITY): The following is hereby submitted on the above ·documents: a) Proposed racing facility in Anoka County - Enclosure (D3-f) contains a memo and res. from the City of Blaine requesting the City of Ramsey support the establishing of a racing facility in the City of Blaine. I am· also enclosing a copy of the Anoka County Board's resolution which they adopted January 18, 1983. I think the resolution that was adopted by the Anoka County Board would be more appropriate for the City of Ramsey to support in this issue. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of getting . involved in supporting a racing facility in Anoka County. Please refer to enclosure (D3-f) for the proposed resolution.
