I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> ,. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, January 11, <br />1983 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Jeanne Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Holly Bradley <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting to order at 7:38 P.M. Councilmember <br />Jeanne Schlueter led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />SWEARING IN OF NEW MEMBERS <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich proceeded to swear in Mayor Thomas Gamec, Councilmembers <br />Reimann and Schlueter. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec congratulated the newly elected Council persons -- Gary Reimann <br />and Jeanne Schlueter. He further commented that the coming'year will be one <br />of Ramsey's busiest, that the Mayor and Council should make decisions according <br />to what is in the best interest of the City and remember to serve those that <br />have elected them. Mayor Gamec welcomed the Schlueter family and stated he <br />was looking forward to serving another term with Councilmembers Reimann, <br />Sorteberg and Van Wagner, also. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br /> Organizational Meeting - Review For City Engineer - Mr. Schneider of CED <br /> Council Business - Case #6: Personnel Meeting <br /> <br /> Council Business - Case #7: Local Aids <br /> <br /> Mayor/Council Input - Seminar Policy <br /> <br />Motion carried.
