Such activities
would fall within HUD guidelines for use of the centers. Communities
with such centers should expect to be contacted by social service
personnel in the near future.

Each'community should use the form provided by'the County for
submission of its 1983 CDBG project proposal(s). The Three Year
Plan which we submitted with our 1981 Program Application places
some limitations on activities which would be accepted by HUD for
funding. If a community proposes an activity which was not included
in its Target Area Objectives (Areas I to V) County staff must
amend the Three Year Plan. For that reason communities should keep
County staff well informed of proposed 1983 activities.

The final item at the meeting was a brief presentation by each community
of those activities being considered for 1983 funding. The list of ...
proposed activities is attached. The presentation led to extended
discussion of the possibility of.'a need for direct County CDBG 'funding
for certain public service activities (Anoka County Community Housing
Resource Board and Well Senior Clinic'were specificially mentioned).
The question of "off-the-top" County CDBG funding for activities will be
taken up again at the next TAC meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:45 p.m'.
