i CASE #4: ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #83-1, 155TH AVENUE NW AND VARIOLITE STREET NW: I I This project includes 155th Avenue NW from Ramsey Blvd. NW to Variolite Street NW and is a part of what is known as the Variolite Street project which runs from 155th Avenue NW to 161st Avenue NW. Assessment of any part of this project should be consistant with your assessment ordinance that was just considered. It should be noted that the staff has always recommended the assessment of a portion of the MSAS costs to benefited properties. However, inasmuch as this should have been included as a part of the Jaspar Street project and was really an oversight on the part of the City, the assessment for the remaining parcels will be based on the cost of the Jaspar area project with an inflation factor added. The remaining costs will be born by the bond fund.
