Due to
difficulties in obtaining easements, it is not certain when
this project will begin. If the City has to condemn the property
the project would be delayed over 90 days and new bids would
have to be taken.

As an alternate to condemning the Hunt property, the road
could be constructed in its present location.

~eglcoating Projects: The public hearings for these projects
have been set for June 14, 1983./

Surface Water Management (SWM) Meeting: On May 19, 1983 I
attended a SWM meeting with Councilman Sorteberg and
Administrator Schnelle.

The purpose of this meeting was to review a Joint Powers
Agreement for the Rum River Management Organization. It was
decided to have the City Councils and City Attorneys review
the proposed agreement and submit any revisions to Jim
Schrantz at Andover by June 1, 1983. If there were numerous
changes, Jim Schrantz was to call a meeting for June 9, 1983
to go over these changes.

It was also decided that each city should submit their
proposed boundaries to the Rum River Management Organization
at a June 23, 1983 meeting.
