You may desire to give additional direction on this issue. c) Methane gas and Waltek regarding existing landfill - The City Attorney will address this issue which is in regards to the , -~~joint powers agreement that you adopted at your May 9, 1983 Council meeting. Council Action: Your action will be whatever the City Attorney requests Council to consider in this case. City Attorney to address legal issue ~f landfill - The City Attorney will bring the Council up-to-date on the legal issue regarding Ramsey versus Anoka lawsuit. CASE #7: INCREASE IN BUILDING PERMIT FEES: This case was before Council on March 22, 1983, however, Council did not address it due to Council workload. It has been brought to my attention that we are not current in building permit charges as our neighboring communities are charging more. Please refer to enclosure (D2-i) for the Building Official's memo dated March 2, 1983. CASE #8: COMMUNITY SIGN: Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the request contained in enclosure (D3-i)o The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: to adopt Resolution Please refer to The issue of maintaining the community sign has to be addressed by the Council, as this is developing into a problem. The problem was there when the sign was installed but at that time no one wished to address the case. I will make a recommendation to the Council at the meeting. WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION: I I I The City of Ramsey will have to become a part of a Watershed Management Organization.
