I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I CASE #2: <br />,! <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> uncil Action: Your action in this matter will be to approve/ <br />~ov--g--~e proposed preliminary plat as well as grant those <br />~variances that may be necessary as recommended by the City Engineer <br />The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your con- <br />sideration: <br /> Motion by ~R and seconded by ~ to approve/dis- <br /> approve of Mr. obert Wojcik's preliminary plat contingent upon <br /> his compliance with the recommendations of the City Engineer. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br />Voting no . <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL; CASE OF Mr. ALLEN SORTEBERG: <br /> <br />Mr. Allen Sorteberg is requesting preliminary plat approval for <br />Sorteberg's Second Addition which is located at the northeast corner <br />of Armstrong Blvd. NW and 157th Avenue NW. That plat consists of <br />four 2~ acre lots out of a 40 acre parcel with the remaining 30 <br />acres as an outlot. ~ <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on this <br />item at their meeting of March 1, 1983 and have recommended approval <br />contingent upon compliance with the City Engineer's recommendations. <br /> <br />Inasmuch as Mr. Sorteberg is responsible for only half of thelstreet, <br />it would seem appropriate to order a feasibility report for the entire <br />street and conduct a public hearing accordingly. If the decision, <br />based on that public hearing, is to not blacktop the streets, then <br />we would recommend that Mr. Sorteberg be granted a variance to that <br />section of the ordinance. <br /> <br />The following items are included as enclosure (D3-b) for your considera- <br />tion: <br /> <br /> a) Applicant's application <br /> b) Notice of public hearing <br /> c) Properties notified <br /> d) City Engineer's report dated February 24, 1983 <br /> e) City Assessor's park fee determination <br /> f) Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing meeting minutes <br /> dated March 1, 1983 <br /> g) Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting minutes dated <br /> March 1, 1983 <br /> h) Copies of the preliminary plat will be available at the meeting <br />Council Action: Your action in this matter should be to adopt resolu- <br />tions ordering a feasibility study and calling for a public hearing <br />which would be held June 14, 1983 along with the other public hearings <br />as well as approve/disapprove the plat. The following proposed motions <br />are hereby submitted ~or your consideration: <br /> <br /> Motion by _ and seconded by to adopt Resolu- <br /> tion #83- ordering a feasibility study for 157th Avenue NW <br /> from Armstrong Blvd. NW to Variolite Street NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
