Motion carried. Voting yes Voting no . OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION; CASE OF MR. PAUL HERTLE, PAUL AND BILL'S, INC. (FORMERLY DISCOUNT #10 LIQUORS): Mr. Paul Hertle is in the process of purchasing Discount #10 Liquors from Mr. Jim Gilbertson. The only major obstacle left in his pur- chasing of Discount #10 is the approval of his liquor license. At the present time his application is in the hands of our Chief of Police, Michael Auspos, and may not be available until the night of the meeting. Mr. Hertle plans to be in attendance at the meeting to discuss his application with the Council. Enclosure (D3-d) contains Mr. Hertle's application and comments from Secretary of States for Minnesota and Iowa. If Chief Auspos does not return Mr. Hertle's application in time for the public hearing, on Tuesday, May 31, 1983, we could reschedule the public hearing for the June 28, 1983 meeting or Council could hold the hearing and approve the request contingent on the Chief's report.
