Peterson <br />7531 - 152nd Avenue NW <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />RE: Conditional Use Permit for Mr. Thomas Nedry <br /> <br />Dear Mr. and Mrs. Petersonz <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission has asked that I <br />write to you in regards to Mr. Nedry's conditional use permit request <br />as well as the other concerns you expressed in the letter you sub- <br />mitted in regards to his request. <br /> <br />First of all, they wanted you to know that they have recommended to <br />{he City Council that Mr. Nedry's request be approved. This issue <br />will be addressed by the City Council at their regular meeting of <br />?ay 24, 1983. <br /> <br />Secondly, they wanted you to know that anyone that has a conditional <br />use permit to operate a business in a residential zone does pay taxes <br />at a commercial rate for that portion of the residential property that <br />is used as a part of that business. <br /> <br />The other item that you expressed a concern with was the parking of <br />trucks on or near the residential streets. We would like you to know <br />that we are aware of this problem and have been called on it several <br />times. However, due to a technicality in the wording of the ordinance, <br />we have been unable to halt this practice. We will however, be changing <br />the ordinance in the near future so we can address this problem. <br /> <br />Should you have any further questions regarding these or other matters, <br />please feel free to contact us at 427-1410.
