I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Subd. 2 COLI,ECTION SYSTD,~ <br /> <br /> 1. ~ere site or soil conditions do not permit disposal <br />of sewage on-site, a sewage collection system with a common disposal <br />site for two (2) or more buildings may be employed. <br /> <br /> 2.. ~P]ans and specifications for such systems shall be con- <br />sistent w~th the Comprehensive Sewer Plan of the City of Ramsey and <br />plans and specifications for the sewage collection system in such <br />cases shall be consistent w~th standards adopted by the City of <br />Ramsey for such systems. <br /> <br /> 3, 'Applications for use of.such systems shall be made to <br />the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (~CA) and .plans and specifica- <br />tions for such systems shall be approved by the MPCA and by the Ramsey <br />City Council before any construction takes place. <br /> <br />DESIGi~ OF COLLECTION SYSTE~.]S <br /> <br /> 1. The collection system shall be so designed that it can <br />be integrated into the permanent sewage collection system at minimum <br />cost and it shall become the property of the City of Ramsey at such <br />time as public sewer service becomes available. <br /> <br /> 2. Plans and specifications for the collection system shall <br />provide for construction in accord with the Recommended Standards of <br />the Great Lakes - Upper Mississippi River Board of State Sanitary <br />Engineers. <br /> <br /> DES]~4 OF q'REATb~NT/DISPOSAL SYSTE~ <br /> <br />The design details of any joint treatment/disposal system in the 1990 <br />Urban Service Area shall be consistent with the requirements of this <br />chapter, with the following exceptions. <br /> <br /> 1. The property upon which the treatment/disposal facility <br />is located shall be dedicated to the City of Ramsey or it shall be <br />placed in control of a homeowner's association until such time as <br />public sewer is available. <br /> <br /> 2. The design of the treatment/disposal facility shall be <br />on the basis of one hundred twenty-five (125) gallons of disposal per <br />bedroom per day. <br /> <br /> 3. The overall system shall be adequate to accomodate a <br />minimum sewage flow of three thousand (3,000) gallons per day. <br /> <br /> 4. Infiltration or exfiltration shall not exceed one hundred <br />(]00) gallons per ~ncb of pipe diameter per mile per day. <br /> <br /> 5. C]eanouts, brought flush with or above finished grade, <br />sba]], be provided wherever a common sewer joins an individual building <br />sewer or piping from an individual se~age tank, or every one hundred <br /> <br /> <br />
