A copy of the certificate shal] be <br />maintained by the city' ang by the applicant/owner.' <br /> <br />150.0]5D NON-APPROVED SYSTEMS <br /> <br />If upon inspection, the plumbing inspector discovers that any part of <br />the system'is not constructed or operating in accordance with the <br />minimum standards provided in this chapter, he shall give the applicant <br />written notification describing the defects. The applicant shall pay <br />an .additional fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each reinspection that <br />is necessary. The applicant/owner shall be responsible for the prompt <br />correction or elimination of all defects and no system shall be placed <br />or replaced in service until all defects have been corrected or elimin- <br />ated. If such defects are not corrected, the system shall be declared <br />a health hazard in accordance with Chapter 150.0i8. <br /> <br />ISO. OiSE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector or his appointed representative(s) shall partic- <br />ipate in training courses for local inspectors as they are offered by <br />state and local agencies and shall become certified at such time that <br />certification procedures are established. <br /> <br />] 50. 016 IXtR II',rfENANCE <br /> <br />]S0.0]6A bRJNICIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />ROUTINE CLEAI,IING <br /> <br />At the instruction of the plumbing inspector, the city shall pump, or <br />arrange to have pumped at the city's expense, septic tanks within the <br />City of Ramsey corporate limits. For systems equipped with a distribu- <br />tion and/or dosing box, the owner shall arrange for the opening of the <br />box and removal of any settled solids therein at least once a year. <br />At the time of cleaning, the plumbing inspector'shall certify, that <br />scum and/or sludge levels have been reduced to acceptable levels. <br /> <br />SCI-tEDUL ING <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector shall maintain a detailed one (1) month advance <br />schedule for routine cleaning and inspecting and a general twenty-four <br />(24) month advance schedule for inspection. <br /> <br />NOTI F ] CATI (tx/ <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector shall notify the owner in writing one (1) month <br />prior to routine inspection and/or cleaning. <br /> <br />].S0. 016B INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />ACG:~,SS <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of the property to main- <br />tain a] ].-weather access to the system and give free access to the <br /> <br /> <br />
