Ramsey, MN 55303 RECEIVED _~.~ Dear Lloyd: The Metropolitan Council held a public meeting on the draft compensation and mitigation report on May 31~ 1983 in the Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting was to obtain comment on the report's recommendations to the Legislative Commission on Waste Management. There were many excellent comments about the direction and content of the recommendations in the report. These suggestions will be evaluated for possible inclusion into the report by the - Council's Compensation and Mitigation Subcommittee of the Waste Management Advisory Committee. We feel that the City of Ramsey will have ample further opportunity to review the report and any changes to the report before it is submitted to the Legislative Commission on Waste Managment. In the meantime~ if anyone from Ramsey has a specific question or comment about the content or direction of the report or recommendations, please contact Carl Michaud, of our staff, at 291-6579. Also, we will inform you of the future Advisory's Commitee's meetings where the compensation and mitigation issue will be discussed.
