! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />::.~, rc:;olution and moved for its ado]-~tion: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~82-89 <br /> <br />APPOINTING OF AD HOC COMMITTEE TO DEVELOP POLICY REGARDING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council, at their June 22, 1982 meeting, <br />directed that an Ad Hoc Committee be appointed to develop a policy for the <br />implementation of public utilities (water and sanitary sewer), storm sewer <br />and streets in the City of Ramsey. Further, that two members of the City <br />Council, three members of the Economic Development Commission, two members <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission and one member of the Park and Recreation <br />Commission be appointed to serve on this committee. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MI~qESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) To appoint the following named persons to serve on the Council Ad <br />Hoc Con~ittee for the purpose of developing proposed policy for the implementation <br />of public utilities (water and sanitary sewer), storm sewer and streets in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />a) Mr. Gary Reimann, City Councilmember <br />b) Mr. A1 Sorteberg, City Councilmember <br />c) Mr. Jack Menkveld, Economic Development .~ommissionmember <br />d) Mr. Bill Miller, Economic Development Commissionmember <br />e) Mr. Darryl Fults, Economic Development Commissionmember <br />f) Mr. Arthur Dunn, Planning and Zoning Commissionmember <br />g) Mr. Robert Isakson, Planning and Zoning Commissionmember <br />h) Mr. John Lichter, Park and Recreation Commissionmember <br /> <br />The following City Staffmembers will serve as ex officio members to this Ad Hoc <br />Committee and will attend those meetings as requested by this Ad Hoc Committee: <br /> <br />a) Mr. Lloyd G. Schnelle, City Administrator <br />b) Mr. Clayton Berg, City Building Official <br />c) Mr. Merle Mevissen, City Public Works Superintendent <br />d) Mr. Bill Goodrich, City Attorney <br />e) Mr. Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />2) The purpose of this Ad Hoc Committee will be as follows: <br /> <br /> a) Develop proposed policy regarding the financing of public <br />utilities (water and sanitary sewer), storm sewer and streets in platted <br />and unplatted areas in the City of Ramsey. This study on methods of <br />financing of public improvements should review all the options that are <br />available to the City of Ramsey financing public improvements. From <br />this study a proposed ordinance should be developed for Council review <br />and adoption. <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br /> b) Develop proposed policy for assessing public i~mrovements <br />such as public utilities (w~ter and sanitary sewer), storm sewer and <br />streets.
