In ~.~. 1980 tho <br />activity had a ~14,~[2 profit whilo opera~n~ exponses oxcoeded <br />revenues By ~50,640 ~n ~.Y. 1979, by ~32,681 in ~.Y. 1~81, and <br />by $38,273 eleven months in~o ~.Y. 1982. ~dditionally~ the <br />acti~Sty has a lon~ te~ l~abil~t7 of approximately ~1~4,200 <br />due ~o tho ~eneral f~d. ghe ~ederal Su~lus Property <br />opera,os on a royol~n~ f~d which means thore ~s no support <br />from tho ~eneral fund and ~ho sorv~eo paid <br /> char~es <br />participants must coyor tho oporat~n~ costs. ~s you can see <br />this has not boon happonin~ 5n tho last few years. <br /> <br /> A final decision has not been made regarding the closing <br />of this facility. A notice appeared in the July 19 issue of the <br />State Register requesting interested parties to co~ent on the <br />~op participation in the Federal Surplus Property <br />Program.
