I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Metro Council Chairman, Charles Weaver's, letter to <br />the City of Ramsey dated September 2, 1982 which is <br />in response to Ramsey's Resolution #82-108. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Anoka County's Resolution #82-45 dated August 24, 1982 <br />which requests that provision be made by the State for <br />postclosure of landfill sites. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Anoka County Administrator's letter dated August 31, <br />1982 which forwarded Anoka County resolution to Senator <br />Randy Peterson. <br /> <br />Comments - Inasmuch as the City had requested a ten day reply on <br />its resolutions and the County was not going to be meeting during <br />that time frame, Mr. Fields directed a response in this manner. <br />However, I will be asking Commissioner Fields to place the above <br />resolution on their next agenda. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be whatever you direct on this <br />issue. <br /> <br />b) Metro Council regarding the proposed Ramsey Landfill Site P - <br /> The following documents will require Council response: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Metro Council Staff's letter dated August 30, 1982, <br />which document is contained in enclosure (D2-c) above. <br />Councilmembers should review this document very care- <br />fully and it. should be discussed at the meeting. <br />Further, Council should designate persons who they want <br />to represent the City at the following meetings: <br /> <br />aa) <br /> <br />2:00 p.m., September 14, 1982, Metro Waste <br />Management Advisory Committee meeting; Metro <br />Council Chambers. <br /> <br />bb) 3:00 p.m., September 16, 1982, Physical Devlep- <br /> ment Committee; Metro Council Chambers. <br /> <br />cc) 4:00 p.m., September 23, 1982, Metro Council; <br /> Metro Council Chambers. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Metro Council Chairman Charles Weaver's letter dated <br />September 1, 1982 in response to the City of Ra~sey's <br />Resolution #82-108 which is contained in enclosure <br />(D2-c) above. Mr. Weaver's letter only refers us to <br />Metro Staff's letter dated August 30, 1982 which is also <br />contained in enclosure (D2-c). His comments on Ramsey's <br />Resolution #82-108 is only to say they do not have any <br />answers. However, he does seem to think the Environmental <br />Assessment will answer some of our questions. I will <br />find out'what the format of this document is as to what <br />it will actually cover in regards to Site P. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Metro Council's reply to Ramsey's Resolutions 082-119 <br />and #82-120 - The reply to this will be available to <br />you at the Council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
