I I I I CASE #3: CASE #4: Council Action: Your action might be to designate person(s) to attend the above said meetings and give Ramsey's official response at these meetings which should be consistent with your Resolutions #82-108, #82-119 and #82-120. VIOLATION OF WILD AND SCENIC RIVERS ORDINANCE ~81-4; CASE OF MR. EDWIN POTTER, 17665 ARGON STREET NW: This office received a call from the Department of Natural Resources stating they had received a report that a Mr. Edwin Potter who resides at 17665 Argon Street had graded the riverbank on his property which would be in violation of City Ordinance #81-4, DNR regulation. I checked out the complaint and found that we did have a %iolation in that Mr. Potter had graded and removed vegetation from the riverbank on the riverside. Consequently, I have had the Ramsey Police Department take pictures and had the City Attorney also go and look at it. We are meeting with the DNR on Friday, September 10, 1982 at 12:30 p.m. in regards to this issue and Mr. Potter will be present at this meeting. Council Action: No action will be required at this time. However, we will be enforcing the Wild and Scenic Rivers Ordinance ~81-4. POLICY ACTION REGARDING CERTAIN 1982 CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS: The following is hereby submitted for Council review and action regarding certain construction projects: Rodeo Hills Construction Project ~82-2 - At the first public hearing, citizens wanted to know why the outlots in that develop- ment were not going to be assessed. Council at that time stated they would look into this matter. However, nothing has been done on the issue. Comments: Staff recommends that you don't assess those outlots in Rodeo Hills because of soil conditions. Secondly, the City never considered an outlot as a buildable lot even though Ordinance is silent on it. However, this will be changed in the upgrading of the Ordinance. Action: Your action will be to direct that these outlots be assessed or not assessed by resolution. b) Bower's Drive, changes in number of lots being assessed - Due to the splitting and combining of lots by property owners through the years, the number of assessable lots have changed as to what was originally thought as assessable lots. The City Engineer will cover this at the meeting. Council Action: No action is required by Council.
