Therefore, with this understanding, <br />the mo~.ion was amended to include the $5,200 funds in line item <br />~6366 of ~)]e MCIU budget. It appeared the concensus was that <br />if Lhe expense was simply ho provide the reports to members, <br />it could be eliminated.- After more discussion regarding other <br />b~dget ~ems, the motion as amended was unanimously passed. <br /> <br />There was discussion regarding the budget review process by <br />the County Board and the involvement of the Joint Law Enforce- <br />merit Council in making decisions regarding the budgets of the <br />MCIU, Central Cemmunications and Law Enforcement training. <br />Commissioner Fields and Sheriff Talbot affirmatively indicated <br />that the Joint Law Enforcement Council would be fully consulted <br />regarding any cuts made in the over-all budget. <br /> <br />The Chairman announced that ~he next regular meeting of the <br />Joint Law Enforcement Council is September 22, 1982, 7:30 p.m., <br />in the Anoka County Boardroom. <br /> <br />Clayton Hogie moved that the meeting adjourn, which was seconded <br />and passed. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />' Donna Adams <br /> <br /> <br />
