However, Council uhould <br />do this by motion. Enclosure (D2-f) contains change orders 'Lo <br />these projects. <br />Council Action: The following proposed motion is hereby submitted <br />for your consideration: <br /> <br /> I/ <br /> I.{otion by ~,,- · and seconded by to approve <br /> of granting an extension of time to the following contractors <br /> regarding the completing of the 1982 projects: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Buffalo Bituminous - Due to the weather conditions, <br />the contractor lost 20 days of working time. The <br />Council hereby grants the contractor an extension <br />of time from the first working day in 1983 as <br />established by the City Engineer to complete projects <br />~82-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />U. D. Contracting - Due to the weather conditions, <br />the contractor lost 20 days of working tim~. The <br />Council hereby grants the contractor an extension <br />of time from the first working day in 1983 as <br />established by the City Engineer to complete Project <br />~82-1. <br /> <br />Further, it is directed that the City Engineer inform the <br />above contractors in writing of_th~ouncil action. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes ~- <br />Voting no <br /> <br />Extension of 167th Avenue West of County Road #5 - It appears <br />that there is adequate funding left in the 1979 Bond Issue. <br />City Attorney Goodrich will have checked out the use of these <br />funds with our Bonding Attorney. However, if we assess out at <br />20% or more of project costs we should not have any problems. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />At the meeting we will have the report from the Bonding Attorney <br />and if he doesn't have a problem, the Council could order City <br />f]ngineer Raatikka to prepare a feasibility report and then upon <br />acceptance of that, call for a public hearing. We will just <br />follow the public improvement guide. <br /> <br />Co-~]cil Action: Your action, if you can go ahead, will be to <br />call for a feasibility report by resolution and after receiving <br />it call for a public hearing. 5he following proposed motion is <br />hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br /> <br />
