The ultimate improvement would provide for a
bituminous surfaced rural street section. The improvement would
require acquisition of additional right-of-way to increase the
existing right-of-way width to a minimum of 80 feet. In addition
to the permanent right-of-way, slope easements would also be
required for a portion of the project. Tree removal is also
anticipated in some areas since the proposed street section width
exceeds the present street width.

It is proposed to locate 155th Avenue N.W. along the one-sixteenth
line o£ Section. 21. The construction of Variolite Street is pro-
posed to be c e~ered 40 feet east of the section quarter lines.
This would allow for the utilization of the existing 80 feet of
right-of-way along the Traprock Commons plat.

The ultimate street section would include three and one-half inch
thick, 24 feet wide bituminous surface over a four inch class five
gravel base with eight foot wide two inch thick bituminous shoulders
as shown on Exhibit B. It is also proposed to widen the right
shoulder to 12 feet at the intersection of 155th Avenue and Ramsey

- 2 -
