CASE #9: Please refer to enclosure (D2-j) for Mr. George Lusher's (Chief Admin- istrator, MWCC) letters dated July 8, 1982 and April 23, 1982. Council Action: Your action will be to direct the City Engineer and the City Administrator to make the appropriate modifications and/or additions to the sewer element of the comprehensive plan and prepare a resolution for adoption of the sewer element of the comprehensive plan as the comprehensive sewer plan. Voting yes ~ . ~ ~~ Voting no U.(~' ~ .~.~ LANDFILL (A. MEETING BETWEEN CITY AND COUNTY OFFICIALS REGARDIN LA2ND~ILL AND B. MRS. MARILYN GALLAGHER TO DISCUSS LANDFILL ABATEMENT AND R~CYCLING): Meeting between City and County Officials regarding landfill - I am still trying to get a meeting set up between the City of Ramsey and Anoka County Officials (Commissioner Ed Fields, County Attorney, County Administrator and Director of Environmental Services). The major problem that Mr. Fields and I are having is that the County Attorney is out of town and won't be back until next week. Consequently, it does very little good to have the meeting without his being present. Also, Mr. Fields would like to have the meeting when the new County Administrator reports in which will be August 2, 1982. Hopefully, I can get a meeting I set up for the first week in August on the landfill issue that you have requested. Mrs. Marilyn Gallagher to discuss landfill abatement and recycling - Enclosure (D2-k) contains her topic of discussion in regards to landfill abatement. Mrs. Gallagher will be present to discuss both of the issues with the City Council. Also enclosed under separate covgr is "Land Disposal Abatement: Options for solid waste reductzon and recovery". FORMATION OF A LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (LDC): City Attorney Goodrich will have incorporation papers ready for Council's review at the meeting. Council Action: The City Attorney will go over with the Council the action you will have to take at the meeting.
