I I Council Action: We will be requesting Council action to prosecute in some cases where the individual has not made any effort regard- ing the notice we sent to them. The reason we are requesting this authority is because it will be involving a lot of citizens in regards to these violations and y6u should be informed of it. CASE ~8: DEVELOPMENT OF THE SEWER ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN INTO A COMPRE- I I I HENSIVE SEWER PLAN: In accordance with the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission (MWCC) Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 473C, the City of Ramsey is required to adopt a comprehensive sewer policy plan in accordance with the Council's Water Quality Management Plan. In the case of Ramsey, the MWCC has indicated the simplest procedure to complete the comprehensive sewer plan would be to modify the sewer element of the comprehensive plan and adopt it as the comprehensive sewer plan. This sewer plan should be completed within nine months following the MWCC's review of the comprehensive plan on April 23, 1982. However, no construc- tion of sewage facilities can be initiated until the comprehensive sewer plan has been approved by the MWCC.
