The police report that is contained in the above enclosure covers the following areas and the proposed Council motion also gives Staff latitude in seeing that the City's best interests are protected: a) Will the race create problem for the Ramsey Police Department a which would warrant Ramsey refusing this request? b) Will the selling of beer create a problem for the Ramsey Police Department which would warrant Ramsey refusing their request for a beer license for this event? C3uncil Action: Council will have to of the approve or disapprove request ~nclosure (D3-e). The food permit is issued by the County. The following proposed motion is hereby submitt~do~your consideration: Motion by ~ and seconded by~o approve/disapprove of granting permission to the Sno-Ba~ons to ha~ their 16th Annual Hay Day Race on september 12, 1982 on the property of Mr. Jack Menkveld located at %he junction of TH 010 and Armstrong Blvd. Further, to approve/disapprove of granting a 3.2 beer license from hours to __hours on September 12, 1982. It is furthe~ted that the Sno-Barons will abide all that will be by regulations re- quested by the City of Ramsey Police Department. Motion carried. Voting yes · . Voting no . CASE 06: MINNESOTA COACT (CITIZENS ORGANIZATION ACTING TOGETHER) REQUIRING PEDDLERS AND SOLICITORS LICENSE: Minnesota COACT is requesting to solicit in the City of Ramsey during the week of 2, 1982. Enclosure (D3-f) contains their to August application solicit inRamsey for .their non-profit omganization. I have checked with the State Securities Division Examiner's Office and the Minnesota COACT is a legal non-profit Minnesota Corporation. .~ Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of their request ~the City of Ramsey.
