It will be held at the Earl Brown Continuing Education Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on August 6, 1982. Who should attend - Councilmembers, the ~ity Administrator and Building Official Clayton Berg. We have to be registered by July 30, 1982 if we want to attend this. Comments - After reviewing the contents of enclosure (D3=g), I recommend that Ramsey a%~end this seminar. Council Action: Council approval is required of this. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your considera- tion: ~~ Motion by_%~a.~~ and seconded by ko approve/ disapprove of expending $80.00 maximum for City Officials to attend Surface Water Management Act Seminar. Motion carried. Voting yes Voting no Minnesota Finance Officers' Seminar"-I would like to have our City Accountant attend this three (3) day seminar which will be held in Alexandria, Minnesota. This year it will be held on October 13', 14~and 15, 1982. This request hasn't been to the Personnel Committee but I will go before them before the meeting. Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of this request. I am recommending that you do approve of it. Regional League meeting - The League Regional meeting will be held in Maplewood on September 16, 1982. Council Action: Your action is required to approve of Council- members to attend th~s along ~ith~the City Administrator. The cost is very nominal. · CASE~8:MISCELLANEOUS REGAP~DING LANDFILL INSPECTION AND LICENSING: The following is hereby submitted for your information as enclosure (D3-h): ~ ~ a) Landfill report for the month of June b) Letter from County regarding the issuance of license to operate landfill to Waste Management, Inc. No Council Action is required on the above, only to note that you have received and reviewed the above said documents.
