A possible r~_sult is that the rates proposed by Bell may <br />be accepted by the Conmission. <br /> <br /> Following the contested hearing, the Co~nission may approve all of any <br />part of the proposed rate increase but may not approve an overall increase greater <br />than that proposed by the Company. 'however, the Conmission may adjust rates for <br />classes of customers to levels greatar than those proposed by the Con, any and make <br />other rate adjustments based upon the testimony of other parties. A contested case hearing concerning this matter shall be held, com- <br />mencing with a preheating conference at Room B-44, Federal Building, U. S. <br />Courthouse, llO South 4th Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401, beginning at <br />9:30 a.m., July l, lgB2. <br /> <br /> 2. Bell shall facilitate in every reasonable way the investigation of <br />the Department of Public Service. All parties shall furnish adequate responses <br />within l0 days to all reasonable information requests from other parties. <br /> <br /> 3. The Company shall keep records of sales and billings under the present <br />and proposed rates such that any potential refund can be determined by computing <br />what each custoaer"s bill w~uld have been during the refund period had the <br />finally ordered rates been in effect and subtracting such amount from t.he an~unt <br />actually paid by each custc~rer during that period. <br /> <br /> 4. This Order shall .be served on Bell who shall mail copies of the sa~e <br />to all municipalities in its service area, all parties who filed petitions to <br />intervene (timely or untimely) in its ~ most recent rate proceedings before <br />the Commission (Docket ~qo.
