COX, Motion by Councilmcmber Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to reappoint Mr. Art Dunn to another four year term'which will expire December 31, 1985, based on the recommendation contained in the Planning and Zoning Commission minutes dated February 2, 1982. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg, Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Case #4 Contract for Maintenance of City Hall Mechanical Equipment: David Jensen - Honeywell - Building Services Division - Contract Representative - introduced himself to the Council. He made a presentation of the preventive maintenance program to the Council. Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to approve of entering into a maintenance agreement with ttoneywell Preferred Service to maintain mechanical equipment at the Ramsey Municipal Center as stipulated in the agreement. Further, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign said agreement for the City of Ramsey. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner, Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Voting No: None, Miscellaneous: Plaque for Ron West Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to adopt Resolution #82-11 requesting a letter of appreciation and a plaque be presented to Mr. Ron West in appreciation for his service on the Planning and Zoning Commission. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #82~11). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Cox, Reimann and Van Wagner, Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Voting No: None, Case #5 Mr. Oren Lemke's PropOsal' Reg'ar'd'ing' use 'of' 'City Land: Council notes receiving letter from Attorney Goodrich dated February 22, 1982 regarding City's alternatives relating to selling of leas- ing the property the City acquired from First Guaranty to Mr. Oren Lemke. Mayor Gamec stated that the property in question is the most valuable piece of property the City owns and that Mr. Lemke's request should be reviewed very carefully. He also stated that he feels there could be a lot of policing problems if Mr. Lemke's proposed park is approved. As far as the ballroom itself is concerned, Mayor Gamec feels it would be best if Mr. Lemke situated this structure on a separate parcel of purchased property. C/February 22, 1982 Page 9
