Each Assessor was asked how they treated the commercial property in 1982.
All the other areas raised the value at least 5%. Some raised as much as 7%. Those
at 7% raised both land and structure value. When I told them I left the value the
same as 1981, the County wasn't too happy about it. I'm not too sure they will
accept them.

I finished the 1982 assessment and turned the books over to the County.
is behind with their work due to a breakdown of some of their equipment.
of Review dates will not be set for a couple of weeks.

The County
The Board

I will be starting to transfer information on new field cards for computer use as
soon as the County is through with the books. While I'm waiting for the books to
return, I'm studying the new codes and new field cards we will be using in the
future. The first transferring will be the 25% viewed in 1982. It will be a compar-
ison of the value I put on the parcel with the value the computer comes up with
after the coded information is placed in the computer. This should be interesting.

The Oldsmobile is a good car. So far it's much superior to either of the other
two cars I've used. It's like comparing a Caddy with a Model T.

This concludes my report.

Submitted by,

I
I

Lester D.
