Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of their (City J of Anoka's) request for our support by adopting the resolution that is con- ~ tained in the above stated enclosure. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted for your consideration: I Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember to approve/disapprove (if you disapprove, you will need · ~eason(s) adopting Resolution #82- to support the City · of Anoka in their effort to operate the Coon Rapids Hydroelectric -- Dam. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #82- .) I Motion carried. Voting yes g Voting no ~ I CASE #5: USE OF CITY LAND, REQUEST FOR; CASE OF MR. OREN LEMKE: At the Council meeting of February 22, 1982, Mr. Lemke discussed with Council · %1 about using City property to operate his proposed recreation facility. Council · ~% requested that Mr. Lemke come up with a written proposal on this issue and ~Q~7~ submit it to the Council for their action. I ~ ~ Accordingly, I met with Mr. Lemke and Mr. Fults and explained what %he City g ~ ~ wanted from them. However, they have never returned with this proposal so ~ ~ that we could include it as an enclosure to the agenda for your review and I~ ~k ~ action. "(~\¥~' Council~\~ ~~ ~ Action: If Mr. Lemke brings in this written proposal on the night of ~ ~- ~ the meeting, you may want to just receive it and table any action until you ~ have reviewed it which would mean tabling it until the next Council meeting. CASE #6: QUOTATIONS FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION ITEMS AT CITY HALL: QUotations were received until 2-00 p m , Tuesday, March 16, 1982 for six items which will conserve energy at City Hall. The response from prospective I was not the best.
