Also at this meeting Council discussed the <br />second sanitary sewer connection if they went with the Metro Council recom- <br />mendation on City density. It was directed that the City Attorney prepare <br />an agreement of understanding which would pin the Metro Council down to their <br />commitments. <br /> <br />Accordingly, the following documents are submitted for your review and action <br />as enclosure (D2-a): <br /> <br />a) Agreement of Understanding - The Attorney prepared %his document as <br /> per your request. <br /> <br />b) Land values as per size building lot - The City Assessor prepared <br /> this report as per your instruction. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Mr. Ryan's, Metro Council, letter dated March 9, 1982 which points <br />out the differences that now exist between the City of Ramsey and <br />the Metro Council. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to act on these items: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Agreement of Understanding - If Council adopts the Ramsey Comprehen- <br />sive Plan, you will probably want your resolution that adopts it <br />hinged on the Metro Council agreeing to your understanding of Agree- <br />ment for the second sewer connection. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Mr. Ryan's letter which is contained in the above enclosure spells <br />out what they will agree to with the City of Ramsey in the adoption <br />of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Your action will be to adopt or not adopt the plan as requested by the Metro <br />Council. <br /> <br />If you adopt the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan, the following proposed motion is <br />hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember <br /> to adopt Resolution #82- which approves of adopting <br />the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan with certain requirements as dictated <br />in the above Resolution. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #82- .) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br />Voting no . <br /> <br />SUPPORT FOR THE CITY OF ANOKA TO OPERATE THE COON RAPIDS HYDROELECTRIC POWER <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PLANT: <br /> <br />Council tabled the City of Anoka's request for Ramsey's support to operate <br />the Coon Rapids Hydroelectric Power Plant at the last Council meeting at <br />the request of Councilmembers Van Wagner and Cox to allow %hem %he time to <br />review this request. <br /> <br />Accordingly, this case is back before the Ramsey City Council for your action. <br />The background information on this case is contained in enclosure (D2-a) of <br />Council agenda dated February 22, 1982. ~~ ~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
