Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc.
February 11, 1982
Page 2

67th Avenue, visual classification of the samples by the Project Engineer
and an engineering analysis. Field work was performed on February 4, 1982.
The location of the borings were indicated on a location diagram provided
by CED, Inc., and located in the field by our drill crew. Ground surface
elevations at the boring 'locations were not obtained by our crew. No
location diagram has been supplied with this report.

SUBSURFACE EXPLORATION PROCEDURES

The soil borings were performed with a track-mounted drill rig which used
continuous flight augers to advance the boreholes. Representative s°il
samples were collected from the sides and tip of the'auger as it was
periodically withdrawn from'the bgrehole. Strata changes were noted'by the
drill crew. Soil samples were placed in sealed glass jars and returned to
our laboratory for further examination.

'Ground water levels were also noted during and immediately after the
drilling operation. These measurements are included in the lower left
corner of the respective soil boring logs.

Ail soil samples will be retained in the laboratory of Soil Testing
Services of Minnesota, Inc. for 60 days, after which they will be
discarded, unless instructions as to their disposition are received.

SOIL TESt'INQ SERVICES OF MINNESOTA, INC.
