Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. <br />February 11, 1982 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />67th Avenue, visual classification of the samples by the Project Engineer <br />and an engineering analysis. Field work was performed on February 4, 1982. <br />The location of the borings were indicated on a location diagram provided <br />by CED, Inc., and located in the field by our drill crew. Ground surface <br />elevations at the boring 'locations were not obtained by our crew. No <br />location diagram has been supplied with this report. <br /> <br />SUBSURFACE EXPLORATION PROCEDURES <br /> <br />The soil borings were performed with a track-mounted drill rig which used <br />continuous flight augers to advance the boreholes. Representative s°il <br />samples were collected from the sides and tip of the'auger as it was <br />periodically withdrawn from'the bgrehole. Strata changes were noted'by the <br />drill crew. Soil samples were placed in sealed glass jars and returned to <br />our laboratory for further examination. <br /> <br />'Ground water levels were also noted during and immediately after the <br />drilling operation. These measurements are included in the lower left <br />corner of the respective soil boring logs. <br /> <br />Ail soil samples will be retained in the laboratory of Soil Testing <br />Services of Minnesota, Inc. for 60 days, after which they will be <br />discarded, unless instructions as to their disposition are received. <br /> <br />SOIL TESt'INQ SERVICES OF MINNESOTA, INC. <br /> <br /> <br />
