I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Proposed <br /> <br />FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THOSE AREAS <br />PROPOSED TO BE REZONED FROM <br />RURAL OPEN SPACE TO RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />That the subject property is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />a) The West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of Section 17, Township <br /> 32, Range 25, Anoka County. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Section 18, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County. <br /> <br />That part of Section 19, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County lying northerly of the Burlington Northern <br />Railroad right of way. <br /> <br />The West 1/2 of the NC[rthwest 1/4 of Section 20, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />and is generally known as the General Mills property <br />located north of Highway 10'nat the City's westerly <br />boundary. <br /> <br />That the owner of the parcels has not formally applied for <br />the rezoning request but has attended council meetings and <br />written letters suggesting that an amendment be made. <br /> <br />That the City Council has proposed this zoning district <br />amendment. <br /> <br />That the ROS zone is misleading as it is often interpreted <br />to mean a park space zone and this is not the intended use <br />for the subject property. <br /> <br />That a public hearing on the proposed amendment was held by <br />the Planning Commission on February 2, 1982. That <br />published and written notice of the hearing was properly <br />given to the public and a copy of said notice is hereby <br />incorporated in these Findings. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission's February 2, 1982 public <br />hearing minutes are incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
