Voting yes <br />Voting no <br /> <br />,I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />CASE #3: <br /> <br />CASE #4: <br /> <br />LEGISLATION: <br /> <br />I attended the Citizen League meeting on January 14, 1982 which was on <br />proposed legislation to change the Workman's Compensation law. The <br />speaker at this meeting was the Commissioner of Insurance, Mr. Michael <br />Markman. Mr. Markman went over the area where they feel changes are <br />needed in our present law. <br /> <br />I have asked Mr. Markman to send me a copy of the study and proposed <br />legislation. When I get these documents, I will be reviewing them with <br />our insurance people and see what kind of a break they will offer if <br />these proposed changes become law. <br /> <br />State Aid to Cities - The 1981 special session will reduce our Local <br />Government Aid from the State by 11.08%. We were supposed to receive <br />$154,744 in 1982, ~however, We will now receive $142,044 in State Aid. <br />There will be communication coming out from the State on this issue. <br /> <br />CONTRACTORS LICENSES FOR APPROVAL: <br /> <br /> I <br />'1 <br /> I <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-c) contains a list of four contractors licenses for your <br />consideration.~3~ <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of the license <br />applications in enclosure (D3-c). <br /> <br /> <br />
