BROADWAY <br /> <br />MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />January 12, 1982 <br /> <br />55428 <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />1his is to re-quest that the city do whatever it can to expedite the brin~ging <br />of sc~er and water to the Ramsey Center area, just north of the border with- ~ <br />the City of Anoka, on Highway #47. <br /> <br />As you know, we purchased 190 or so acres frc~ Eleanor Lindsey back in 1972. <br />When we originally requested platting into one acre sites (which was perfectly <br />vi~ole at the time) the city officials requested that we hold off because one <br />acre residential sites would not have been in accordance with its long range <br />p]a~s, which were only in embreyo at the time. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />We held off and were told the sewer and water develotm~nt was being actively <br />pursued by the city at the time. Since then, as an additional incentive to <br />you, we have donated land for your recreational center and have promoted the <br />conme~cial and multiple nature of the area. <br /> <br />We have received many requests for land frcm businesses and developers who are <br />thinking of locating in the area but they cannot proceed without certainty of <br />sewer and water. <br /> <br />Anything you can do for us will be appreciated. <br /> <br />AKR/D & ~ <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Arthur K.
