Economic Development: Promoting Ramsey's industrial and commercial property for development, etc. The Commission will be meeting Monday, January 25, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center. Council Action: Your action will be to approve the above names fo--~-~eEconomic Development Commission. We will try to have a proposed Ordinance available for your review which would establish this Commission as a regular City Commission. b) Establishment of a Local Development Corporation - Mayor Gamec ~at Council consider the merit of having a Local Development Corporation. Accordingly, he will address.this issue. Enclosure (D2-d) contains a proposal from Mr. Steve Kline. Council Action: No action is .irequired, unless Council wants to ~~this issue. CASE #6: ES~TABLISHING STORM SEWER__ASSESSMENT RATES: Council has discussed the establishing of a storm sewer assessment rate a number of times. The last time Council discussed it, you tabled it until 1982, as you were,too busy with other projects and you wanted more time to review the proposed storm sewer assessment rates. Voting yes Voting no I I I I CASE #7: LEGAL: The City Attorney will address the following issue with Council in regards to legal matters: a) State Local Government Aid - Attorney Goodrich will address suit that is being brought against the State of Minnesota. b) Landfill Contract Status - Attorney Goodrich will address this also.
