You are one of over <br />300 citizens who have indicated support of VIellspring <br />through contact by phone, letter., or return of a response <br />'Form. Your willingness to join us in working to enhance <br />economic growth attests to the presence of the "wellspring <br />spirit" in our state. <br /> <br />Undoubtedly, you are wondering what we have been doing <br />since our premiere dinner. Frankly, we have spent these <br />three months carefully exploring potential projects as <br />well as meaningful ~.~ays to make use of your enthusiasm <br />and expertise. The preliminary screening of proposals <br />is no¥¢ complete and ~./e are pleased to announce the <br />formation of seven committees. A description of the <br />committees is included i'n the enclosed summary. <br /> <br />We will periodically update you as the committees refine <br />their proposals and formulate specific plans for action. <br />In addition, we are planning a set of open committee <br />meetings which you are encouraged to attend. Details <br />will follow. <br /> <br />As we move ahead, we ask for your continuing understand.ing <br />and patience. As you know, Minnesota Wellspring is an <br />infant organization preparing for a lengthy life. This <br />n~ea. ns that our high expectations must be ceupled with <br />patience to systematically plan a comprehensive and long- <br />term project which will make a significant contribution <br />to the quality of life in our state. <br /> <br />Again, we sincerely appreciate your support.
