(:ount on Metropolitan Council <br />revic'w of local plans is as follows: 125 reviews have <br />been cmnpleted, 15 arc in process and 28 have <br />prereviews pending. Six communities (Bayport, <br />Baytown Township, Bethel, Landfall, St. Mary's <br />Point, and Wes£ Lakeland Township) have not yet <br />submitled plans for review. <br /> <br />Three comnmnities--St'. Mary's Point, Bethel and <br />Landfall -have forfeited state planning assistance <br />grants. The funds were taken back because the com- <br />munities neither submitted a comprehensive plan nor <br />requested an extension. Six communities requested <br />and received such extensions. They are: Fridley, <br />Baytown To~vnsbip, West Lakeland Township, Bay- <br />port, M('dina and Carver. <br /> <br />Work is progressing on the Checkpoint Paratransit <br />Demonstration Study for Northern Dakota and Scott <br />Counties. The study is being conducted by Cambridge <br />Systematics, Inc. and BRW, Inc. to determine <br />feasibility of paratransit services in Burnsville, Eagan, <br />Apple Valley, Lakeville, Rosemount and Savage. <br />Data for the market analysis portion of the study is <br />currently being collected; the study is to be <br />completed in the spring of 1982. <br /> <br /> <br />
