Electronic siren bids shall have a PA capability and local plug in microphone <br />receptacle at the control head. <br /> <br />U. The bidder may substitute more than one (1) bid if more than one of the bidders <br /> warning siren systems meets the specifications. <br /> <br />Payment <br /> <br />Payment for bid quote shall be after a total satisfactory siren test from control point. <br /> <br />Intentions <br /> <br />These specifications are not intended to include any proprietary items, components, <br />circuits, or devices which would preclude any outdoor warning siren manufacturer from <br />producing equipment to meet these specifications. All ratings, power outputs, and <br />specific criteria are currently being met by commercially available equipment. The fact <br />that a manufacturer chooses not to produce equipment to meet these specifications, <br />providing the above criteria are met, will not be sufficient cause to adjudge these <br />specifications as restrictive. <br /> <br />The specifications set forth herein are intended to serve as minimal requirements for the <br />warning sirens. <br /> <br />Exceptions <br /> <br />All bidders must meet basic requirements. Bidders must note any exception or non- <br />applicability to the general requirement specifications and indicate those specific <br />exceptions to the bid in a letter accompanying the bid at the time of the bid opening. <br /> <br />Reservations of Riqhts <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, or <br />technicalities in the bidding. <br /> <br />Option <br /> <br />The bidder may list options beyond the specifications that are available at additional <br />cost for the siren system(s) that is being bid. <br /> <br /> <br />
