This bond shall guarantee the proper prosecution and completion of the work by <br />the successful bidder; and shall further guarantee the prompt payment by the <br />successful bidder of all persons or firms furnishing labor, tools, materials and <br />supplies for the work. <br /> <br />A 100% performance bond for the total amount of the project shall guarantee the <br />quality of material and workmanship of said work for a period of two (2) years or <br />per manufacturer's specified warranty, which ever is longer, from the date of final <br />acceptance. The contractor may not release the surety company on this 100% <br />performance bond until he has received a written release of said 100% <br />performance bond from the City. <br /> <br />When the manufacturer's warranty or a period of two years has elapsed after the <br />date of the acceptance of the work by the City, whichever is longer, the contractor <br />shall contact the City and an inspection by the City and the contractor shall take <br />place; and if the work is in good condition, the City will take official action and shall <br />release the performance bond. <br /> <br />If it is found by the inspection after this period that some of the work and/or sane of <br />the material s are defective, such work and/or materials shall be replaced or <br />repaired and when the contractor has properly replaced or repaired such defective <br />work and/or materials, the City may then release the 100% performance bond. <br /> <br />P. The locations of warning sirens to be replaced in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Siren Cf <br /> <br /> 3. 173rd Ave & Variolite <br /> 4. 6600 Block Green Valley Rd <br /> 5. 17100 block Hwy 47 <br /> 9. 16500 block Nowthen Blvd <br />10. 164th Ave & Junkite St <br />14. 5200 block 155th Lane <br /> <br />Q. The location of the warning siren to be relocated in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Siren Cf <br /> <br />13. Nowthen Blvd & Sunfish Lake Blvd to be relocated to the southwest corner <br /> of Alpine Dr NW & Sunfish Lake Blvd NW. <br /> <br />Bid quote shall include cost of installation of unit on a fifty (50) foot pole and <br />electrical connections to transformer. <br /> <br />S. The bidder must visit all siren site locations where sirens are to be installed. <br /> <br /> <br />
