batteries. The AC/DC model uses AC as primary power and switches to battery only
after a loss of power - providing true battery backup. By following your specifications we
bid a straight DC System. I included the AC transformer for AC/DC operation as an
option to the DC Siren. I also included Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification
documentation to ensure that this equipment being bid meets UL's stringent standards
for safe and quality products.

Our bid is for a Turnkey Project including installation of new sirens at specified locations
which we have visited during our on-site survey. It also includes the relocation of Site
#13. Also included is removal of the existing Healy Ruff Radio Control Equipment and
installation and interface to new sirens. Bob Schiller of RT Electric, which is located in
the City of Ramsey, has been installing and servicing all makes and models of outdoor
warning sirens for over 30 years and is considered one of the best in the business. With
their shop being right in Ramsey you can be assured of prompt, professional, reliable
service. RT has offered to store the sirens being disposed at their shop for five years to
use for spare parts to help keep the remaining electronic sirens operational. I have
included a copy of Federal Signal's Standard Warranty on warning equipment;-

I have included some company profiles highlighting some of the major Warning Siren
System installations Federal Signal has supplied throughout the world for military,
nuclear, industrial, and municipal markets. Federal Signal's diverse product offering
provides a solution to meet any public warning need. We trust that you will agree that
our Federal Signal system proposal will meet and exceed your project specifications
and that we are offering the most responsive bid.

I hope you find this helpful. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to give me
a call. We look forward to working with you and the City of Ramsey as you grow and
continue to enhance your community warning system.

Sincerely,

rat Signal cort~°~''
Since !~g01,

Fe~loral Warning Systems
