o Explore with the City of Anoka realignment possibilities for Highway 47 <br /> south of County Road 116 to Highway 10. <br />· Mississippi River Bridge Crossing <br /> o Undertake the Official Mapping process to preserve and protect the future <br /> bridge corridor within Ramsey. <br /> o Explore the possibilities of realigning State Highway 169 north thru <br /> Ramsey. <br />· County Road 116 <br /> o Seek and secure funding for the reconstruction of the County Raod 116 <br /> from State Highway 47 to Sunfish Lake Boulevard. <br /> o See and secure funding for the extension of County Road 116 west from <br /> Armstrong Boulevard. <br />· Regional Road Improvements <br /> o See and secure funding for the necessary regional road improvements <br /> needed on Armstrong Boulevard (CR83), Bunker Lake Boulevard <br /> (CR116), Ramsey Boulevard (CR56), and Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br /> (CR57). <br />· Rum River Bridge Crossing <br /> o Explore the possibilities of having an additional bridge crossing over the <br /> Rum River into Andover. <br /> <br />Supporting Transportation Policy Direction <br /> <br />Consistent with the policy direction established through the strategic planning process, <br />the following section further identifies the City of Ramsey's position relative to <br />transportation needs and priorities within the City. The majority of the projects and <br />potential time frames listed below are in a conceptual stage unless otherwise noted. <br /> <br />State Highway 47 <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has identified two segments along State Highway 47 as areas <br />where future transportation improvements are needed to improve overall mobility within <br />the Highway 47 corridor. <br /> <br />Segment 1 - South of CR116 to Highway 'iO <br /> <br />The City will work with the City of Anoka and Anoka County to identify and implement <br />needed improvements that will support better access and mobility between Highway 10 <br />and CR116.
