PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramscy Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Chairperson Todd Cook <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />C h airperson Cook called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:35 p.ln. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Nolle. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Pearson, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Ending Probationary Period for Building Official <br /> <br />[-luman Resources Manager Reed explained that Michael Kaehler was hired as the Building <br />Official November 10, 2003. Mr. Kaehler has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period and his supervisor, the Community Development Director, recommends that <br />Mr. Kaehler be retained as the regular, full-time Building Official. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Game¢, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to recommend that the City <br />Council adopt a resolution ending the probationary period for Mick Kaehler and granting him <br />status as the fidl-time, regular Building Official. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Mayor Gamec and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee/May 11, 2004 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
