I
,I
I

I

I

I
I
I
I

November 10, 1977

File E355. O1
5 acre tract Southwest of
167th and St. Francis Blvd.

Page - 3 -

The Soil Survey of Anoka County indicates that this property has Kratka,
Blomford, Lino and Anoka Soils. All of these soil types except the Anoka
have rather high ground water conditions. Kratka and Blomford are
described as being a mantle of outt.~ash sands over clay which, as we found,
is a good description for the entire tract, including the area thought to
be Anoka soils.

This property is near the edge of the out,ash sand plain. A few miles
north the clay lies at the surface. A good long range solution for the
shallow ground water conditions would be the development of a storm sewer
drainage system for this area of Ramsey.

Yours truly,

CEA: sd

HAKAt, SO,~, ANDERSON ASSOCIATES
Carl E.
