Anoka, Minnesota 55303 SUBJECT: Contract Amendment Awarding 1980-81 Local Planning Assistance Grant Dear Mr. Schnell: Enclosed are five copies of an amendment to your community's grant agreement with the Council for Local Planning Assistance Grant funds. The funds are'---to-be~used-'to reimburse your community for a portion of the cost associated with preparing its required comprehensive plan. The funds may also be used for the cost of preparing and adopting official controls to implement the plan. If you have not already done so, please have your governing body pass a resolution requesting the funds and designating a person authorized to execute the amendment on its behalf. Then have the authorized person sign all five copies and return them to me. When we receive the signed amendments, we will disburse the first 50 percent payment if your plan has been.found adequate for review. After the plan has been reviewed by the Council, and after it has been adopted locally, please send me some documentation (a copy of the resolution or a copy of the minutes) that it has done so, and the second 40 percent payment will be made. The final 10 percent will be paid when the Final Progress Report is submitted. Give me a call at 291-6518 if you have any questions.
