I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br />SUBJ: <br /> <br />Jeanne Moen <br />Sheila Beyer <br />Penny Ott <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />Standing Operating Procedure and Policy for Internal Control of <br />City Funds <br /> <br />(a) Ramsey City Council Resolution #81-116, dated August 25, 1981 <br /> <br />1) In accordance with the instructions contained in reference (a), the <br />following persons are hereby designated to perform the following duties <br />regarding the normal daily office procedures: <br /> <br />a) Penny Ott is hereby designated to act as the City agent in <br />performing the following functions: <br /> <br />1) Authorized and directed to receive monies from customers <br />who are paying for goods and services received from the City <br />of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) Authorized and directed to issue receipts for all money <br />received from customers who are paying for goods and services <br />received from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />In Penny Ott's absence, Sheila Beyer, Deputy Clerk, or any other <br />party who is designated by the City Administrator will accomplish <br />the above functions. <br /> <br />b) Sheila Beyer, Deputy Clerk, is hereby designated to act as <br />the City's agent in performing the following functions: <br /> <br />1) Shall balance receipts against cash received weekly or <br />as necessary. <br /> <br />2) Shall prepare deposit slips, <br /> <br />3) Deposit shall be made if the City receives in $2,000 <br />total or $200 in currency, <br /> <br />4) Shall maintain the Mayor~.s facimile stamp which is used <br />for signing city checks and when us-ing said stamp she shall <br />affix her initials to the right of the Mayor%s signature~ <br /> <br />5) Shall maintain the City seal and when'msing said seal she <br />shall affix her initials to the'right of the seal; <br /> <br /> <br />
