I I Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81-110 WHEREAS, paragrapb 130.O92(5) of the Liquor Ordinance for the City of Ramsey provides for the issuance of two (2) off-sale liquor l~censes; and WIIEREAS, the City of Ramsey does not have an ordinance for the issuance of se't licenses and a fee to be charged for them; and WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of M~nnesota, at their Council meeting of July 28, 1981 directed each Councilmember to bring in a name of an individual to serve on an Ad Hoc l~quor and License Commission. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The following named individuals are h&reby appointed to serve on the City of Ramsey Ad Hoc Liquor and License Commission for a period of six (6) months: a) Roy Schumway b) Gary Gorham c) Bill Pittman d) Astrid Guy e) A1Kempf f) Alternate Member - Dick Barstow g) Ex Officio Member - Bob Kuhn The Commission will appoint its own chairman and secretary. The City office will provide any pertinent information such as copies of the City's present liquor ordinances and license ordinance and other information this Commission may desire. 2) The scope of work for this Ad Hoc Liquor and License Commission will be as follows: a) Review the present City Liquor Ordinance in regards to the number of off-sale liquor licenses that the City of Ramsey may issue and the criteria the City presently uses which is one license for every 5,000 people. b) Should the City issue set-up licenses and what fee should be established if the City should issue said license. 3) It is requested that the Ad Hoc Liquor License Commission submit a written report to the Ramsey City Council at their regular Council meeting of November 24, 1981. b
