I <br /> I <br /> I <br />,I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />,I <br /> <br /> ! <br /> <br /> PROCEEDINCS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CONTINUATION OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A meeting of the Ramsey City Council was called to order by Mayor Gamec <br />at the Ramsey Monicipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />at 7:35 P.M., October 28, 1981. The purpose of this meeting was to resume <br />Cooncil bosiness on the October 27, 1981 agenda. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Van Wagner <br />Councilmember Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Reimann <br />Councilmember Cox <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Accountant Jeanne Moen <br />Building Official Berg <br />Chief of Police Auspos <br /> <br />Mayor Camec led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #3 - Engineerin8 Price Quotes on Paving City Hall Lower Parking Area: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka informed Council of a bid that was not included with <br />other bids recorded in his letter of October 22, 1981, to City Council. The <br />bid was for $21,458 from United Asphalt. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated he felt the parking lot is not a necessary expense <br />at this time since the lower level of the Municipal Center is not finished. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to table <br />any action regarding paving the lower level parking lot at the Ramsey Muni- <br />cipal Center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Case #6 - Revenue Sharing_ Budget, 1982; City Budget, 1982; and Capital Pro- <br /> ~ram Budget for Council Action: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec summarized the 1982 budget changes and/or additions over the <br />1981 budget. He also reviewed the supplements to the budget. <br /> <br />Motion by Cooncilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />direct Councilmembers Reimann and Sorteberg to pursue possibility of pur- <br />chasing approximately five acres of land for future municipality use. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
