Require PCAireview of all regulations which are more strict than <br /> federal. <br /> <br /> 2. Enact a "Hazardous Waste Superfund" bill to meet federal require- <br /> ments, ~ <br /> <br /> 3. Support market pricing of resources and oppose regulated rate for- <br /> mulations not based on "cost-of-service." <br /> <br /> 4. Oppose increased taxes or punitive regulatory treatment of energy. <br /> <br /> 0 <br /> 1. Workers' compensation should be the exclusive remedy for all work- <br /> place injuries. <br /> <br /> 2. Adopt a statute of repose which would prohibit claims from being <br /> brought after a certain period of time. <br /> <br /> 3. Strengthen "state of the art" and other defenses. <br /> <br /> 4. Allow punitive damages to be awarded only for "willful and wanton" <br /> conduct by the defendent. <br /> <br /> 5. Provide that lump sum awards be discounted to "present value." <br /> <br />EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS <br /> <br /> 1/ Maintain the ability of employers to preserve endangered industries <br /> and endangered Jobs: <br /> <br /> a.
