300 Metro Square Building, 7th Street and Robert Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br /> <br />Area 612, 291-6359 <br /> <br />October 21, 1981 <br /> <br />TO: Metropolitan Area Local Officials and Citizens <br /> <br /> You are invited to a half-day workshop Friday, Nov. 13 to get firsthand <br />information on the Metropolitan Council procedures for handling the plans and <br />grant applications that come before the agency for review. <br /> <br /> The workshop will cover the Council's review' process for housing, <br />transportation, health, environment, aging, parks and other proposals and <br />current information on the status of the federal A-95 review process. <br /> <br />Workshop speakers will explain: <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />How applicants can organize and write their proposals to make the <br />review process move smoothly. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />How the Council notifies other~gencies, affected cities and counties, <br />and the public about project proposals. <br /> <br />Factors the Council consider~ in making its final recommendation or <br />decision. <br /> <br /> The workshop is open to all interested persons at no charge. It will be <br />held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Council's offices, 300 Metro Square Bldg., 7th <br />and Robert Sts., St. Paul.
