Z022B <br /> <br />OFFICE Of THE SECRETARY OF THE TREASURY <br /> <br />OCT 2 ? 1981 <br /> <br />Dear Chief Executive Officer: <br /> <br /> Our records indicate that your government received <br />$25,000 or more. in final allocations of revenue sharing <br />funds in Entitlement Periods 9, 10, and 11 or in 10, 11, <br />and 12; i.e., in 1978, 1979, and 1980 or in 1979, 1980, and <br />1981. Accordingly, your government is subject to the audit <br />requirements of the Revenue Sharing Act, as amended, and <br />must have a financial audit of all funds and a compliance <br />audit of revenue sharing entitlements made for any one of <br />your three fiscal years, but not later than fiscal 1981. <br /> <br /> The financial and compliance reports are due no later <br />than eight months after the close of your fiscal 1981 year. <br />We suggest that you check with your State officials to <br />determine if the required reports are to be sent by you to <br />your State for review, who in turn will report to the Office <br />of Revenue Sharing on your behalf, or if the reports should <br />be sent directly by you to the Office of Revenue Sharing. <br /> <br /> If you have any questions concerning these matters, you <br />may contact the Audit Division at the letterhead address or <br />telephone the Division at (202) 634-5230. <br /> <br /> Sincerely, <br /> <br />Michael F.
