WHERE

CASE #2:

IT INTERSECTS WITH KRYPTON STREET:

I received a phone call from Mr. James Loren on October 19, 1981,
asking that something be done about the pine trees blocking people's
view when entering Industrial Blvd. from Krypton Street. I went out
and viewed the situation with Merle, and Mr. Loren does have a valid
complaint about the trees blocking one's view when entering Industrial
Blvd. I can imagine in the morning it could be a real problem.

Council Action: Inasmuch as the trees are on a County Highway, we will
have to request them to remove the trees. Incidentally, the trees are
planted directly under a powerline so they would have to be removed in
the future anyway. The following proposed motion is hereby submitted
for your consideration in regards to this case:

Motion by Councilmember and seconded by Councilmember
to direct the City Administrator to contact the
Anoka County Engineer and request that they remove the pine trees
that are located in the blvd. right-of-way of Industrial Blvd.
where i~ intersects with Krypton Street NW.

Motion carried.
